1. Who we are

The Donut Watch Company ("we", "us") runs donut.watch, our emails, and Jelly Run at jellyrun.donut.watch. This notice explains how we handle personal information there.

2. What we collect

• Information you give us, including your contact details, messages and contest entries, and what we need to verify and deliver a prize.
• Game and account information, including your scores, your board name, how you play, and decisions about your account.
• Device and usage information, including your IP address, device identifiers, and how you use our site, game and emails.
• Information from others: from Google, if you sign in with it, your name, email address and profile picture; and from our security providers.

3. How we use it

We use personal information to provide and secure the site, the game, the contest and our emails; to prevent cheating; to deliver prizes; to improve our services; and to comply with the law and protect our rights. We also send news and offers by email to people who sign up on donut.watch and to Jelly Run players, who join our mailing list when they accept the rules.

4. Who we share it with

We share personal information with our service providers (such as hosting, sign-in, email, analytics and security providers), social media platforms when we message a winner, couriers and customs authorities, professional advisers, authorities where the law requires, and any buyer or successor of our business. Your board name, scores, runs and wins may be shown publicly.

5. Cookies

We and our providers use cookies and similar technologies.

Some third parties may collect information about your online activity over time and across different websites when you use our services.

6. Where it is processed

Our providers process personal information in the United States and the European Union, which may be outside your province or country, where local authorities may be able to access it. Canadian residents can ask our privacy contact for written information about our service providers outside Canada.

7. How long we keep it

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes in this notice:

• account information: while your account exists;
• records of runs and devices, and prize details: until the contest's results, any disputes and our tax obligations are settled;
• marketing information: until you unsubscribe, then only a record of your choice.

We keep final leaderboards and winner records as a record of the contest, and anything a dispute or the law requires.

8. Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, and you can complain to us or to your data protection authority. Where the law gives you these rights, you can also ask us to restrict or stop using it, ask for a copy in a portable format, or withdraw your consent at any time without affecting earlier use.

9. Visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland

We use your information to perform our agreement with you (the game, your account, the contest and service emails); for our legitimate interests in preventing cheating, securing and improving our services, publishing results and protecting our legal rights; with your consent, for analytics and marketing; and to meet legal obligations.

You may object at any time, free of charge, to marketing and, on grounds relating to your situation, to any use based on our legitimate interests.

Giving your email address is voluntary, but you need it to save scores, win prizes or receive our emails. For transfers to countries without an adequacy decision, we use approved safeguards, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
